British Riding Club
Central Scotland Highland Pony Club has affiliated to the British Riding Club.
"What does that mean?" - The decision to join British Riding Clubs will have no effect on Central Scotland’s constitution and therefore the club’s aims and the way it is run but it allows the club a framework and support network to ensure we keep up with the ever-changing rules and regulations of running equestrian events, while ensuring that the health and safety of our members and their ponies at all our events is paramount.
"What can it do for me?" - BRC gives both you and the club greater access to training, competitions and qualifications with the aim to help riders develop their skills and enjoy riding. While also allowing its members the opportunity to compete at local and national levels including Area Qualifiers and Championships with affiliated Clubs also being offered the opportunity to ride in area points and inter-club competitions.
"Where can i get more information about BRC?" - BRC is part of the British Horse Society and more information can be found on their website. http://www.bhs.org.uk/enjoy-riding/british-riding-clubs.aspx
"What area are we in?" - CSHPC is part of Area 22, which has their own website and facebook page and can be found here.

CSHPC became full members in 2019 and if you are a member of the club, you should receive a membership card direct from the BRC.
We hope that you will understand and support the club in taking this decision and the opportunities that it may bring.
