You will learn about:... - Introduction to horsebox and trailer safety - The law and how this affects you - What to do if you break-down or have an accident - How to perform basic safety checks Everybody welcome, no booking necessary, just come along. Venue: Knockhill Racing Circuit, You have until the 7th of June to order your photographs from the spring show. Ruth has issues with space on her website, so after this date they will be deleted and you will no longer be able to purchase them.
The gallery can be found here... http://www.ruthtrotterphotography.co.uk Some beautiful photographs, what are you waiting for!? Fame at last for CSHPC! In the Scottish Farmer today there is an excellent report and results from our spring show. Thanks to Melanie Scott for writing about us, and to Ruth Trotter for allowing the use of her photograph of Hamish Cameron and his lovely mare Beannachadh of Abernethy. Due to inclement weather and ground conditions, Drymen Show has been postponed. I am sure we are all hoping that this is not the first of many for the season.
The show committee are going to review the situation at the beginning of June and will decide then if the show can be salvaged for this year or not. After the excitement of the spring show, comes the excitement of the official photographs!
Ruth Trotter very kindly stepped in at the last minute. You can view the gallery of the day (and purchase) via this link... http://www.ruthtrotterphotography.co.uk/highland-pony-show-gleneagles-may Well, our spring show yesterday was a truly excellent day. I've only just updated the website with photographs from the weekend, thanks to everyone who contributed pictures for us to use. <-- Jean leading the ride out on Rowan of Achncarry, beside another one of her ponies Euan of Achncarry. According to Jean, there were around 40 ponies at the ride out this year! Everyone had a fabulous time, and the event raised money for the grass sickness fund. Thanks again to Tim and Jean for hosting this event. If you would like to see more photographs, please hover over the CSHPC dates page and there is a 2013 Gallery page.
